From Emmy award-winning Mark Burnett (Survivor), Lucha Underground presents an all-new episode on the El Rey Network. The matches inside The Temple is about to heat up as wrestlers Alberto El Patron aka Alberto Del Rio and Shawn Hernandez are about to step into the ring.

Ever since launching his own network, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For filmmaker Robert Rodriguez has entertained audiences with his programs, such as Matador and the second season of From Dusk Till Dawn. As we previously mentioned, El Rey rides into lucha libre, the no-holds barred world of freestyle wrestling and high-flying aerial maneuvers. In Mexico's most popular sport, the masked villains and heroes confront against each other in thrilling one-on-one matches.

According to the release, the battle over a mysterious medallion escalates to a monumental match. The madness doesn't stop there as Alberto El Patron gets into the ring against Hernandez for the #1 Contender Title. In the episode, Aerostar goes head-to-head with Jack Evans in a match where the only way to win is by pin fall or submission.

In an interview with Wrestling Inc, Johnny Mundo, the former WWE superstar John Morrison, reveals how Lucha Underground has reinvigorated his mood, "I feel like it has revitalized my wrestling career. I was trying to figure out what to do with wrestling, and I've found it. It's a great opportunity. The guys there - Ezekiel Jackson (now Big Ryck), Chavo Guerrero, Alberto El Patron, Puma, Fenix, Drago, Aerostar, Hernandez, Konnan, the list goes on and on. It's a really cool promotion. It's gritty, everyone's talented, and everyone's got a little something to prove, which I think is cool."
