Spider-Man Reboot New Actor Casting News: Tom Holland Instagram Videos Show Off Peter Parker Abilities?

We're not sure when we'll find out which young actor on a rumored short list of stars will officially be named the new Spider-Man star for Marvel and Sony, but one talent is sharing some great evidence for his case. Should we cat Tom Holland as the new Peter Parker in a solo film and the upcoming MCU project Captain America: Civil War? We can't really say for sure if he's getting the role, but new Instagram videos posted by the actor definitely prove he's at least a great choice for the comic book role. According to the latest news on this set of rumors, Holland is also in contention with Matthew Lintz and Charlie Plummer. Also, former frontrunner Asa Butterfield has been taken out of the running for some reason.

Clearly the actor is acrobatic and can perform some of his own stunts, but is this enough for the two studios to cast him? We would also like to point out the fact that when the previous Spider-Man reboot was casting, Josh Hutcherson made a test reel of stunts for the role of Parker, but did not end up getting the job. Are these Instagram videos going to end up coming back to haunt Holland? We'll find out for sure hopefully soon with an official announcement.
