West Ham's record playing at Liverpool isn't anything to write home about, but manager Slaven Bilic told the press this week that this isn't something he worries about in the new season and this game today.

"They are a tough team and have seven points," Bilic said in his press conference. "They have not scored so many goals but have not conceded many. The results are different. If you see the players they have bought, they still want to be attacking and score goals. They have quality in every department of the pitch and are really dangerous up front."

Meanwhile, coach Brendan Rodgers has explained that Liverpool's defense is the team's main focus.

"We've put in extra work and focus on that," the manager said, according to Sky Sports. "We are doing extra sessions on every aspect of our defending in terms of in-game static and moving positions and our set-pieces. We are putting in an awful lot of work into that organisation, it is one of the things I picked up on from last season."
