On Tuesday, President Barack Obama attended the 2015-2016 NBA season opener between the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Now, it comes as no surprise that President Obama would attend an NBA game considering the fact that he replaced the bowling alley in the White House with a basketball court, let alone attend a Chicago Bulls game especially considering Obama has openly admitted to be a Chicago Bulls fans (since he is from Chicago). So, seeing Obama sitting courtside was bound to happen.

However, the President didn't fly from DC to Chicago just to watch the Bulls game live on Tuesday, he just happened to be in his hometown at the time to deliver an address at the annual conference of International Association of Chiefs of Police regarding a stricter policy on gun control in an effort to reduce the rise in crime. While in Chicago, he also attended a number of Democratic fundraisers, as reported by Huffington Post.

Earlier that day, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers hinted at Obama's potential presence at the NBA season opener:

"He loves the game of basketball," LeBron James said, according to ESPN. "We all know that. It's an honor for me to be a part of a venue and a spectacle that the president would like to come and watch. It's an honor, for sure."

Obama may be a LeBron James fan, but he's also a Chicago Bulls fan. So, despite LeBron's efforts to impress Obama with his 25 points and 10 rebounds, the Cavaliers lost to the Chicago Bulls by 2 points, scoring a total of 95 while the Bulls scored 97.

The Bulls were up throughout most of the game, until the fourth quarter when the Cavs took an 83-82 lead (due to a floater by King James) with just 5:32 left. However, that lead was short lived, as the Bulls were back on top with 2:42 left, and preserved the win.

Also, as reported by Sports Illustrated, during the second quarter, the President was pulled aside by TNT's David Aldridge to get his take on important matters, such as how he thinks the Bulls will play under the new head coach, Fred Hoiberg:
