Dwyane Wade and company threw Amar'e Stoudemire quite the birthday bash over the weekend. The party--which was hosted by Haute Living magazine at Cipriani (a nice little spot in downtown Miami, very much different than your local Applebee's)--celebrated the Miami Heat forward's 33rd birthday in grand style. There were gifts, too, among them, a $25,000 watch.

Stoudemire, who attended the party with his wife and mother of four kids, Alexis Welch, was given a Hublot special edition Miami Heat watch.

"The watch retails for $24,700," a rep for Haute Living said, who spoke with TMZ. "And all of the players, coaches, and the owner chipped in to buy it for him."

A pretty magnificent gesture. However, in the context of the party (a party that had notable attendees such as: Gabrielle Union, Timbaland, Ace Hood, Ballers costars Donovan Carter and Arielle Kebbel, as well as a handful of impressive NBA people) it was almost par for the course. Here's why: there was a Ferrari in the middle of the dining room.

For Stoudemire, life off the court in Miami is pretty neat. However, on the court he isn't exactly (at least, not yet) experiencing the same joy. Since the start of training camp the 33-year-old big man has been struggling with a knee injury, making just one appearance in the 10 games thus far. His teammates, on the other hand, have faired a little better, posting a 6-4 record (that included a 3-game winning streak before a poor showing in Minnesota on Tuesday. Perhaps the product of a little too much cake Sunday night at Cipriani?)

While life on the court may be off to a shaky start for Stoudemire, it's apparent life off of it is going much smoother. However, with the aid of his good friends in Miami, surely it's only a matter of time before we see him once again rocking the rim.
