The CW network continues with Season 2 of The Flash and Season 4 of Arrow. Before the Arrow/Flash crossover, this the perfect opportunity to check out what Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) have in store for viewers.

In the previous crossover, Arrow (Amell) and The Flash (Gustin) ended up on opposite sides as Rainbow Raider screwed around with the scarlet speedster's mind. The Flash and Arrow had to fight each other before taking down the meta-human. But things changed the second time around, when Arrow needed the Flash's help to take down Captain Cold. Not only did they manage to work together, the two gained mutual respect for each other.

Check out our 5 reasons why we're excited about the Flash/Arrow crossover trailer here:

1) They're Not Repeating Themselves

This isn't about the Green Arrow taking on the scarlet speedster; this is an origin story. As we previously mentioned, Part 1 is entitled, Legends of Today, which follows Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) as he arrives in Central City. The immortal super villain sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renée). Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is caught in the middle when Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) spreads his wings and takes Kendra.

2) The Legends Spinoff

We also mentioned, Part 2 moves the action to the renamed Star City in Legends of Yesterday. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry moves Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver for help. When Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) gets involved, things don't go exactly as planned. Maybe after they realize Vandal Savaage is a much bigger threat than with of them can handle, maybe our heroes will learn they're going to need a bigger boat.

3) The Crimson Comet

According to TV Line, Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) finds himself without his super-speed powers as he wanders aimlessly Central City. Earth-2 Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) has developed a serum to help Barry run faster. In a last-ditch effort to prove whether or not he can be trusted, Harrison asks Jay to test the serum out. Will Jay get his powers back? Or is it all a trick?

4) Everybody's Wearing Costumes!

Thea (Willa Holland) put on that costume of hers as Speedy aka Red Arrow. Even Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is getting into the action as the Black Canary. I can't wait to see Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renée) sprout her wings, put on that helmet, and become Hawkgirl!

5) Did That Bomb Explode Already?

My favorite part of the first crossover was when Barry had to stop the detonation of Captain Boomerang's bombs. Straight from the comics, the scarlet speedster has to be at five different places at the same time, in order to deactivate the explosives. Based on the trailer, it looks like the crossover sequel intends on topping that sequence?

The Flash continues Season 2 on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm. Arrow continues Season 4 on the CW Wednesdays at 9pm.

Legends of Today airs December 1 and Legends of Yesterday follows December 2.

Readers, what do you think of the crossover between Arrow and The Flash?
