While the phrase "golf feud" is potentially the most boring one in the English language, the two parties involved in this one make it pretty interesting. Now that Donald Trump and Samuel L. Jackson have been fighting over the incredibly slow sport on Twitter -- has the GOP nominee found his match?

Basically, Trump tried to pick a fight with Jackson by saying they'd never met, which ended up being a lie -- and unsurprisingly enough, the actor also revealed Trump's a big of a cheat in golf.

The whole thing started when Rhapsody Magazine published an interview with Jackson in which the Hateful Eight actor revealed that he'd been billed for Trump's National Golf Club even though he's not a member, adding that the two had played before and saying that Trump was "more P.T. Barnum than politician."

Of course, Trump isn't one to dodge any form of free publicity that comes his way, so he took to Twitter to say that he's never met Jackson and that he's not a fan because "he does too many TV commercials."

According to NBC News, this is where things got interesting: not long after Trump said he'd never met Jackson, Blackish actor Anthony Anderson called bull on the billionaire, saying the three hadn't only played golf together, but they even got some shrimp and hot dogs for lunch.

Later, Jackson took to Instagram (in a picture that has since been deleted) to post the bill Trump had sent to him.

"A bill from the guy that doesn't know me & never golfed with me! I'm gonna Block his ass too," the 67-year-old actor wrote, via The Grio.

As a cherry on top, Jackson recently appeared on The Late Show with Seth Meyers and addressed his new feud with the billionaire/reality star/politician, telling a hilarious story of one time they played golf together and Trump cheated.
