Michael Kors has just launched #InstaKors, a program which allows users to register their email addresses and Instagram usernames at the special landing page. Michael Kors then shoots a linked email when the customer likes a shoppable photo on Instagram. Thousands of brands, bloggers and retailers post products to Instagram every day, but due to the social media site's "no-links handicap," they can't link out to those products for followers to buy. "MStars News" recently reported that Marc Jacobs Beauty debuted a solution to this frustrating problem by creating a Shop via @MarcBeauty Instagram website. Want to be the next Rihanna, Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus? MAC's looking for six new faces, and it's relying on the Internet to find them! In a new initiative called MACnificent Me, potential campaign stars are asked to submit a few things to MAC's website, including your "Mantra" of 140 characters or less. Contestants are then asked to post their mantra all over social media: Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Getting lots of shares or likes won't help get you into the top six, MAC says, but "it will definitely help you grab our attention — which is never a bad thing when it comes time to make our final decisions."
