Following the announcement that he'll soon be getting his own CNBC primetime show, Jay Leno receive some other good news –– he was to be the recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor! To celebrate, the former Tonight Show host was jokingly slammed by the likes of Jimmy Fallon, Jerry Seinfeld, and more, at the Kennedy Center in Washington. Season Two of FOX's hit comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine continued tonight with "Halloween II." In the episode, Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his fellow Nine-Niner, Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) are in search for Captain Holt's (Andre Braugher) stolen "Death Watch" –– which was only "stolen" due to Jake's antics after making a bet with Holt he thought he could win. The British TV series The IT Crowd was such a huge comedic hit when it was on the air, introducing fans to the snarky behavior of the tech division of a company in hilarious situations. Like most British comedies, a remake over in the States was developed in order to create a new series. Unfortunately, NBC's 2007 pilot for this new remake, starring Joel McHale (Community), failed. Last night the Kansas City Royals took one step towards taking home the World Series title in baseball as they beat out the Baltimore Orioles to give them a spot in the baseball finals.
