According to new reports surrounding the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie project, former mixed martial arts fighter and current Hollywood action beauty Gina Carano has joined the cast. According to a number of sources, after Marvel and Sony decided to team up to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and its Phase 3 movie schedule, Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield has turned down the opportunity to return as the web-slinging comic book hero.
