New 'Dragon Ball' Series Airing in July!

The last time any new Dragon Ball-related television episodes were released was in 1996. That year everyone believed the series concluded with the last episode of Dragon Ball GT. After more than twenty-years though, that stretch of no-new Dragon Ball episodes has come to an end as a new series is in the works. One of the best parts of this news is Dragon Ball's creator, Akira Toriyama, will be at the helm. The series premiere will be in Japan this July and is going to be called Dragon Ball Super. The anime site Famitsu is reporting it will take place right after Goku defeats Majin Buu. Is Billy Unger In The Running For 'Spider-Man' Casting?

We recently reported on an actor short list that Marvel has compiled for casting the role of Spider-Man, a.k.a. Peter Parker in the upcoming Cinematic Universe movies including a standalone film, Captain America: Civil War and other Avengers projects. This list included Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James, but given Marvel's history of casting leading actors that weren't on original lists (Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc), we're not too surprised that Disney XD star Billy Unger might be in the running now! Aside from a social media campaign started by Unger and his fans to get him the role, Marvel might also be promoting this star to frontrunner from the looks of some photos. Read More »
