Established in 2011, BucketFeet was founded by Aaron Firestein and Raaja Nemani to give artwork a new canvas… on your feet. The footwear quickly established themselves by allowing designers from around the world the ability to express themselves on canvas sneakers. Less than five years later, the Chicago-based footwear brand opened its first store in Nolita and the shoes are available at high-end retailers Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom and LastCall. World renowned artists such as Jimmy Sheehan, JC Rivera, Meera Lee Patel and Michael St. Aubin have all created original artwork and designed looks for BucketFeet and the funky footwear is a favorite among celebrities like Tiger Woods and Jeremy Piven, MStars News sat down with Bucketfeet designer Jayson Atienza to learn more about the sneakers that hold their weight in the art world. It appears that there were some hiccups during Kanye West's Fashion Show during the 2015 New York Fashion Week events. MStars News has learned that one of the issues included one model smoking on the runway! Some suspect it was Ian Connor. In the clip below, one model decides to start moving as the other models are standing still wearing Kanye's Yeezy 2 clothing line. The male model shocked everyone when he started smoking, as the others remained still. While some viewers believed it was part of the show, some believed that he didn't care and wanted a smoke break. Madeline Stuart is a model with down syndrome who will be making her New York Fashion Week debut by walking the runway for her first time. The 18-year-old inspiration from Australia has gained quite a following on social media for her stunning photos, and even signed to Brisbane as one of their featured models. Stuart is now following in the footsteps of American Horror Story actress Jamie Brewer, who was the first model with down syndrome to walk the runway in NYFW.
