Even though the new comic book series Wytches, created by industry greats Scott Snyder and Jock debuted just this month (Oct. 2014) it's already being courted around Hollywood for a film adaptation. Star Trek 3 updates and talk has been piling in over the last few weeks, thanks to cast and crew members sharing their excitement about the project in numerous interviews. This week, John Cho and Bruce Greenwood, who both starred in the first two Star Trek reboot films (Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness), spoke about writer-turned-director Roberto Orci and their excitement about the next film, which has a release date set for summer 2016. After months and months of casting rumors, it looks like Quentin Tarantino's new western-styled movie The Hateful 8 (or stylized as The H8ful Eight) has found its leading lady in Jennifer Jason Leigh. This news thwarts other rising speculation that Jennifer Lawrence was up for a role, with the director choosing an actress that is ripe with talent but might not be on everyone's minds these days.
