The casting and plot rumors for the Fantastic Four reboot movie, directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle) continue to swirl as we move closer to any official casting announcements. We've already heard that Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights, Fruitvale Station, The Wire) is reportedly a lock for the role of The Human Torch, and numerous other names have been floated for the other parts (we'll get to those in a bit). Star Wars: Episode VII was announced in late 2012, and slowly added updates throughout 2013. Though the updates were sparse, the rumors were not but the confirmations have yet to start. Divergent won't hit theaters until March 21, 2014, but it already has release dates for the sequels set around the same dates for the next two years. This week, a director was hired to take on the first sequel, Insurgent. Oscar-winning writer Akiva Goldsman will direct the next chapter of this Veronica Roth book trilogy adaptation, with stars Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller, Theo James and others returning. Read More »

Quentin Tarantino is currently in a state of dismay and depression after his Django Unchained follow-up film, another Western movie entitled The Hateful Eight, was compromised. The new film's script was leaked by one of the few people he shared it with, causing the award-winning director to shelve the project and possibly not even make it into a movie at any point.
