Eddie Murphy’s appearance on the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live was heavily anticipated, but when it happened it was sort of, well, eh. After the letdown, word got out that Murphy was approached to play Bill Cosby in the Celebrity Jeopardy sketch but declined the offer. This isn’t exactly the most surprising bit of news, but it’s being reported that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is going back to NBC and hosting Saturday Night Live. The billionaire spent years at NBC as the host of The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice – and was eventually fired for making “racist” comments during his presidential run speech – and now it seems he’s heading back to the peacock. Tuesday night's Democratic debate has quite a few people yammering in anticipation. Of course, not as many as the Republican debates, but that was largely because of Donald Trump's oh-so-anything-can-happen presence. As news reports of mass shootings seem to be airing each and every week now – which, by the way, blows – much of the debate that comes from it is centered on guns. In recent weeks it has been the shootings in Oregon, and in the past it was occurrences such as the shooting at comedian Amy Schumer's film Trainwreck.
