By danica-bellini | Dec 06, 2012 04:00 PM EST

JCPenny's decision to team up with popular television host Ellen DeGeneres has angered the conservative media watchdog group One Million Moms... again. According to the "Today Show," members of the Christian organization are completely appalled and offended by a recent JC Penny Christmas commercial featuring the quirky comedian having a humorous tête-à-tête with three of Santa's elves. While One Million Moms insist that the ad is completely inappropriate because it includes many slight yet offensive side jokes (such as poking fun at the elves' heights), many people believe the group is merely still angered by the fact that JC Penny has hired an open homosexual spokeswoman to head its campaign. Late Wednesday evening (Dec. 5), the cargo ship Baltic Ace sank after violently colliding with the Corvus J container ship in the treacherous North Sea miles off the coast of the Netherlands. Recently released infra-red pictures taken by the Royal Netherlands Navy capture the stunning scene as rescue missions manage to pull 13 surviving crew members from the icy cold waters. While there are so far five deaths accounted for, six men of the 24-member crew are still missing at sea. The Dutch Coastguard reports that the rescue operation has since been called off, considering the chances of the remaining missing crew members actually being alive at this point are "virtually zero." After the firing, the South Portland mall issued an official apology on its Facebook page. Read More »

Hailie Mathers' Taylor Swift Twitter Rant a HOAX: Eminem's Daughter Didn't Tweet Songstress is a 'Whore,' Bogus Account Deactivated

By danica-bellini | Dec 06, 2012 11:31 AM EST

A bogus Twitter hoax has caused viral hysteria once again - this time involving rapper Eminem's teenage daughter Hailie Jade Mathers and pop country songstress Taylor Swift. According to reports, 16-year-old Mathers allegedly tweeted the 22-year-old starlet on Monday (Dec. 3), exclaiming that she better "stop whoring around" with the "love of her life" (referring to One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles). The fake Twitter account even sent out an official apology following the viral Swift rant! But now reports confirm that it wasn't young Mathers who sent out the harsh tweets, but an impersonator (who quickly disabled the bogus Twitter account and quickly dissolved into cyber world oblivion). It was pretty odd that the daughter of a controversial "bad boy" rapper would be a diehard fan of the pop-boy band 1D, anyway! Read More »

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Bollywood Actress' Controversial Kiss in 'Dhoom 2' Led to Legal Threats, Left 'Most Beautiful Woman in the World' Uncomfortable [VIDEO]

By danica-bellini | Dec 06, 2012 10:50 AM EST

The beautiful and talented Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had her first onscreen kiss with actor Hrithik Roshan in the hit 2006 film "Dhoom 2." Now years later, the 39-year-old starlet (considered by some "the most beautiful woman in the world") admits that she still feels uncomfortable taking part in such intimate scenes. It doesn't help that after her mini-make out sesh with Roshan hit the big screen in 2006, Bachchan was met with much backlash and even received legal threats for her "inappropriate" public behavior. Bachchan initially had doubts signing up for "Dhoom 2" specifically because of the kissing scene, and much of India's media apparently agreed that the actress should have stepped away from such controversial a lip-lock. By danica-bellini | Dec 06, 2012 10:21 AM EST

Actor Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville has always felt some bitterness towards pop-country songstress LeAnn Rimes - and now the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has even more to fume about considering she accuses Rimes of letting her 9-year-old son get ahold of some laxatives while under his stepmom's care. During a recent interview with Us Weekly, Glanville insists that her young son Mason mistook a laxative lying out openly on the floor as a skittle, and got extremely sick after consuming it. While Rimes' reps deny such accusations, it is the 30-year-old singer's hubby Cibrian that is really lashing out against his own ex-wife's seedy claims. Read More »
