Reports confirm that the late Dr. Nikita Levy, a former gynecologist at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, secretly tapped his patient's privates with the use of a hidden camera pen during several routine check-ups. A fellow Johns Hopkins employee grew suspicious of Levy's shady actions, and alerted authorities on Feb. 4. Levy, 54, committed suicide at his home on Feb. 18. Since the scandal broke, authorities alerted over 2,000 of Levy's patients to learn if they've been victimized. As a result, two class-action lawsuits were recently filed against Johns Hopkins, claiming that the hospital is ultimately to blame for not protecting patients from Dr. Levy's inappropriate and invasion of privacy practices. After a lonely weekend of "being ignored" by her Twilight beau, apparently Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are doing just fine. In fact, a source close to the couple claims that they talk and text everyday - K-Stew can't wait to see her British heartthrob and is currently "counting down the minutes" until they're able to reunite in the States. The "On the Road" starlet has been a very good girlfriend while R-Patz is off filming "The Rover" in Australia. Reports confirm that Paula Lopez, a popular California anchorwoman for KEYT-TV Channel 3, returned safely home Wednesday evening (Feb. 27) after she was reported missing by family members earlier in the day. Apparently Lopez was last seen at her Santa Barbara home Wednesday morning when the missing persons scare began. Because of Lopez's prestigious standing in the community, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office launched an avid search right away, but to no avail. Reports confirm that a large shark attacked and killed popular television and short-film director Adam Strange on Wednesday (Feb. 26) just off the coast of Muriwai Beach near Auckland, New Zealand. Vacationers and fellow sun-dwellers watched in horrific shock as the predator ripped the 46-year-old swimmer apart. Police attempted to save Strange by firing gunshots at the approximately 14-foot long shark, but to no avail. Gruesome eyewitness accounts describe the scene as a bloody, chaotic mess. Reports confirm that 19-year-old Coastal Carolina sophomore Anthony Liddell was killed during a near-campus shooting on Tuesday evening, Feb. 26. The tragic shooting occurred at the University Place - an apartment-style residence hall located just off-campus in Conway, SC - at around 7:20 p.m. Liddell was rushed to the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach where he later died of his wounds. As students mourn the loss of their fellow classmate, University President David DeCenzo recently released an official statement on the school's website, offering his heartfelt condolences. On February 14, 2013, Olympic track star Oscar Pistorius (aka "Blade Runner") shot and killed his stunning South African model girlfriend, 29-year-old Reeva Steenkamp. Although 26-year-old Pistorius insists that the tragic Valentine's Day shooting was an accident, he currently faces charges of premeditated murder. On Monday (Feb. 25), the National Enquirer posted a rather shady report alleging that the couple had gotten into a heated argument the night before the shooting - over the fact that Steenkamp was "cheating" on Pistorius with one of her close friends. She then announced that she was pregnant and that shocking news is what sparked the deadly shooting the following morning. A family spokesperson for Steenkamp recently denied such morbid baby rumors, releasing a statement claiming that if the young beauty had been with-child, it would have been revealed during the post mortem autopsy. Reports confirm that 35-year-old Floridian Gregory Dale Lanier was unintentionally shot in the leg by his own furry, four-legged companion during a casual drive in his truck over the weekend. Apparently, Lanier's pet dog accidently kicked his owner's loaded .380 pistol (which Lanier initially thought was empty) onto the vehicle's floor, firing off a gunshot into his leg. Reports confirm that Nevada police have named 22-year-old Tineesha Lashun Howard as a "person of interest" in the tragic Las Vegas drive-by shooting and violent car crash that killed aspiring rapper Kenny Clutch on Thursday (Feb. 21).
