Mariska, the Friesian Mare infamously deemed "Houdini Horse" after her amusing escape artist tactics went viral on the web, sure does love her freedom! The nine-year-old mare who resides at the Misty Meadow Farms near Midland in central Michigan has a gifted knack of opening her stall door and roaming the farm's fields. Mariska's owners recently caught her devilish escapes on video and posted the clip on YouTube. It has garnered close to 900,000 YouTube views since being posted in January. Why must Star magazine spread so many vicious lies when it comes to celebrity marriages, divorces, and pregnancies? The popular gossip tabloid's latest report claims that Kim Kardashian got pregnant via in vitro in order to ensure a speedy divorce from Kris Humphries. Not only does that make very little sense, but the magazine goes on to explain that the reality starlet ultimately "used" Kanye West's sperm to make a baby, because getting pregnant meant that she'd be able to avoid "fraud charges" stemming from her bogus marriage to Humphries. Just days after gossip guru Perez Hilton dug up a photo of pop star Miley Cyrus (allegedly) posing with her adorable pet pup Bean in front of a heaping mound of marijuana, another controversial weed pic went viral on the web, posted by Instagramer mileyxxcyrus. In the image, Cyrus (or a Miley Cyrus look-alike?) is shown puffing on a rather large blunt, her face consumed in a cloud of hazy pot smoke. Fans immediately responded and the "weed smoking" pic soon went viral on Twitter and beyond. Hawaiian shark conservation advocate Ocean Ramsey recently proved to the public that Great Whites "aren't as scary as they appear to be" by swimming in open water with several of the large ocean predators - unprotected. The beautiful free-diving expert recently hit the blue waters off the coast of Mexico to enjoy some time gliding along with the stunning creatures. In an effort to highlight the need for conservation of a species on the verge of extinction, Ramsey claims that she was able to experience a remarkable chance of a lifetime. Reports confirm that two Texas women were found guilty of kidnapping an infant boy and then hiding and neglecting him for the next eight years on Tuesday (Feb. 19). Gloria Walker currently faces close to 40 years in prison, while her daughter Krystle Tanner could serve up to 16 years in prison for the kidnapping and neglect of eight-year-old Miguel Morin. Reports from Paris confirm that a family of seven French tourists was kidnapped in northern Cameroon, Africa on Tuesday (Feb. 19). During a recent public press announcement, French President Francois Hollande insinuated that the captors were most likely members of the Boko Haram terrorist group. Three adults and four children were kidnapped, and while details still remain unclear, Hollande predicts that the victims will eventually be transported to Nigeria. Reports confirm that a "brute" by the name of Fernando Gonzalez burst into a Bronx, NYC laundromat on Saturday (Feb. 16) and unexpectedly began attacking Derrick Dunn and his innocent six-year-old daughter. During the violent assault, Dunn and the young child were maced. The NYPD released security camera footage of the attack on Monday, and just hours later, Gonzalez surrendered.
