Indianapolis Colts linebacker Josh McNary has been charged with rape, report Fox and ABC. Ahead of the NFL team's AFC Championship game against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, Fox and ABC are reporting that 26 year old McNary — who has been with the team for two years and played all — has been charged with several offenses including rape and criminal confinement after an alleged incident late last year in Indianapolis. The star of Newhart, Elf and ER even had to take to Twitter to explain that it wasn't him out there deliberating on throws from star quarterbacks Marcus Mariota and Cardale Jones, or judging how many yards running back phenom Ezekiel Elliot had picked up, that was head referee Greg Burks. Oregon Ducks quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 2015 NFL Draft prospect Marcus Mariota has announced his intention to leave college for the NFL. After losing the College Football National Championship Game 42-20 to the Ohio State Buckeyes, Mariota is expected to go first overall in the draft to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ahead of FSU quarterback Jameis Winston. Rex Ryan is the new Buffalo Bills coach, and he's started off with a bang: "Is thing on? It's about to be," said the coach in his introductory press conference. He predicted that he would take the moribund team to the NFL playoffs, but stopped short of guaranteeing a Super Bowl, instead guaranteeing the pursuit of it, as he also said that he will build the team into a bully. Kathy Griffin's debut as the new host of E!'s Fashion Police the day following the Golden Globes was a rocky one. The flame haired comedienne took shots at Lupita Nyong'o, Amal Clooney, Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley, Emma Stone and plenty more of Hollywood's A-list, but Griffin's performance wasn't quite on point. John Elway thanked 'John Elway' for his service to the Denver Broncos, misspeaking during his press conference to announce the departure of head coach John Fox. The Denver Broncos GM and Vice President of Football Operations said that he'd like to start of his press conference by "thanking John Elway" due to a glitch in the matrix. The Denver Broncos and coach John Fox decided to "mutually part ways" following their 24-13 NFL divisional round playoff loss at home to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts.
