Fabricio Werdum Becomes New UFC Heavyweight Champion

Cain Velasquez went into his fight against Fabricio Werdum as the favorite on Saturday night at UFC 188. What transpired in the Mexico City Arena was a little different than what everyone expected. Wedum, with a record of 20-5-1, tapped Velasquez out with a guillotine choke. With the win Werdum became the new undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion. Chelsea Handler Will Do Hallucinogenic Drugs On Netflix Show

Chelsea Handler is taking her new show on Netflix to different places. It won't be all Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber and Britney Spears references. According to Handler, she wants to do a show "smarter" than her, where she could learn something. One of those new experiences is doing ayahuasca down in South America. On the episode titled "Chelsea Does Ayahuasca," Handler will fly to Peru and drink the ayahuasca with a Shaman. She'll also be under medical supervision when she does it. Read More »

Family of 'Saved by the Bell' Lisa Turtle Wants Marriage Annulled

Lark Voorhies is best known for her role as Lisa Turtle in Saved by the Bell. These days she has a new husband and her marriage has gotten to a bit of a rocky start. For one, Voorhies' husband Jimmy Green, might be a criminal. Green is wanted in Arizona for allegedly threatening to kill a man. Ryu Joins 'Super Smash Brothers'

Earlier this year, Mewtwo returned to Super Smash Brothers and that was big news in the Smash community. This was the first time a character was added to a game via downloadable content. Mewtwo isn't the only new character in the Smash-verse though. There are two new characters on the way and one of these guys might possibly the biggest additions the game has ever seen. Ryu from Street Fighter is looking to make his debut very soon. Ric Flair's Tribute to Dusty Rhodes

On Thursday, tragedy struck in the wrestling world once again when the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, died at the age of 69. Other than his own family, the person who may have been broken up about it the most is Ric Flair. Both men's careers have intertwined for generations and their rivalries are probably the best the business has ever seen. Seeing where she stands now on Twitter and Instagram, it's almost hard to think she ever had below 1,000,000 people watching her every move daily. Pro Bowl Guard Evan Mathis Released By Eagles

For two off-seasons, the Philadelphia Eagles and Pro Bowl guard Evan Mathis were in a contractual war. The standoff had no end in sight until Thursday when the team finally decided to let Mathis go. The 33-year-old guard wasn't happy with his five-year, $25 million contract he signed in 2012, so this wasn't surprising. Mathis skipped all the voluntary training sessions and he probably would've skipped the mandatory ones, too. If that were to have occurred, then he would've been fined. Read More »

The Nintendo 3DS got off to a shaky start. A few months into its inception the handheld console was forced to go through a price drop and it looked like Nintendo's latest product was a flop. These days it's finally looked at as a success. In the United States it has sold 15 million units and world wide it has sold more than 52 million. Ellen Pao Asked to Step Down From Reddit

This week Reddit shut down five communities. The reason for the shutdowns is because the subreddits went against a new anti-harassment program led by interim chief executive Ellen Pao. The most popular community closed was called Fat People Hate. The subreddit made fun of overweight people and was made up of pictures and comments.
