By joseph-randazzo | May 26, 2015 11:29 AM EDT

The Kardashian clan might be the best at branding. Nobody in the limelight has had their name plastered against something more than this family has. This is why when Kris Jenner announced she was trademarking the term "momager," it wasn't just a cutesy name she has taken control of. Now, the likes of Dina Lohan and Tina Knowles can't use that term publicly because it belongs to Jenner. If they do then they'll have to pay a good amount of money for its use. Read More »

'Aloha' Movie Deemed Offensive by Native Hawaiians

By joseph-randazzo | May 26, 2015 10:58 AM EDT

Aloha was supposed to be one of those Rom-Com type of movies meant to come and go. Some Native Hawaiians though have taken umbrage with the movie. According to them it's a misappropriation of their culture and it simplifies a word that they hold near and dear to them. The controversy started when it was announced that the Cameron Crow film starring Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone would be screening in Honolulu for three days. Many Hawaiians feel the plot is too military based and has nothing to do with Hawaii itself. Read More »

By joseph-randazzo | May 26, 2015 09:01 AM EDT

TLC's Breaking Amish broke the god-fearing stigma of the Amish. It's looking like everything we knew about them may have been a little off because even they have a little bit of a gangster element to them. It's because of this that TLC can't be all that angry at Jeremiah Raber for yelling at a police officer in Pennsylvania and getting arrested for it. It's the type of drama they feed off. Read More »

By joseph-randazzo | May 22, 2015 10:18 AM EDT

When Flava Flav does anything, he does it big. Whether it's the clock around his neck, a reality show which has him picking a wife from a harem of woman, or, in the case of an early morning police stop on Thursday morning in Las Vegas, not even a quick stop is simple. When Nevada Highway patrol pulled Flav over, it seemed as if they would be dealing with a simple speeding ticket. His going 73 in a 45 was the least of the Public Enemy hype man's problems because by the time the stop was done he had a slew of charges against him the likes of drug possession and a DUI.
