By joseph-randazzo | Sep 11, 2015 09:22 AM EDT

Japanese wrestling might be just as big as the organizations here in the United States. Their performers probably garner the same level of respect a Bret Hart does in all provinces of Canada. It's because of this that it's crazy to think Japanese stars are few and far between in the Mecca of wrestling that is WWE. You have your Tajiris, Jushin Ligers and Hideo Itamis - formerly Kenta in Japan- and that about tops the list of stars. These men have treated their respective generations to wrestling clinics and in 2015, a female Japanese wrestler will now have a chance to wow American audiences as WWE signed Kana to an NXT deal. You can check out some of her highlights right here. She's a submission specialist with some nasty arm bars and Rob Van Dam-level educated feet. Read More »

We are now living in a post-Spygate and Deflategate world. New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady is in a position where the people who were supposed to be his friends in the NFL front office are his enemies, and the men he goes to battle with on the field are his allies. The outspoken cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman lost to Brady in the Super Bowl and now he is one of those allies. Sherman told reporters he thought the original 4-game suspension was too much and that he was glad the whole thing got overturned. Read More »

Kurt Angle surprised the wrestling world when he left the WWE for TNA in the mid-2000's. In his stint there the Wrestling Machine went to war with the likes of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Sting. These were dream matches that otherwise would've never happened if he stayed in WWE. That stint with TNA wrestling is coming to an end though as Angle announced to Mark Madden's radio show in Pittsburgh that he won't be resigning with the company. On top of this news Angle claimed he would not be returning to the WWE. Read More »

Bill Simmons Responds To ESPN Patriots Spygate Allegations

By joseph-randazzo | Sep 09, 2015 12:13 PM EDT

Bill Simmons is the Sports Guy. More importantly, he's a fan of all things New England sports and when the Patriots rekindled their Spygate war - not DeflateGate - he of course went down to the gallows for his team. The moment ESPN, his former employee, posted an article that said Roger Goodell linked Spygate and Deflategate, Simmons went on to say that the Patriots didn't cheat. It's just that the other teams involved were awful. He cited Super Bowl implosions with lopsided scores by the Rams and Eagles as proof. Read More »

A day doesn't go by where Donald Trump isn't going after somebody. On some days he veers off and decides to slam Megyn Kelly. On others his wrath stays on the political spectrum. For today's news cycle he is staying political and he is in vintage trump form by going after President Barack Obama. According to Trump, the President has divided this country racially when it comes to the public and the police. Trump told The Economist that the Obama Presidency has left us sitting on "many powder keys." Read More »

By joseph-randazzo | Sep 08, 2015 10:31 AM EDT

Bret Hart has never been one to hold back what he's feeling. In the early 90's he was open about Shawn Michaels being nasty in the locker room, and recently, he said that Hulk Hogan shouldn't return to the WWE. His latest target comes in the form of wrestling's Kliq. Hart went off on them when asked about the latest Kliq DVD and according to the Hall of Famer and former World Champion, the group was a "cancer." By joseph-randazzo | Sep 04, 2015 11:41 AM EDT

In today's world, it feels like there are very few moments when the good guys win. Wars on television and political smearing from the left and right just leave us with a bad taste in our mouth. Thankfully, amongst the ashes of media mush, there are moments of triumph you can't help but recognize and feel good about. One moment of triumph in particular came when the great Tom Brady overruled the NFL's 4-game suspension with the help of federal courts. In the end, the suspension didn't hold up because the NFL refused to share their notes and they didn't notify Brady of his suspension. Naturally, when it comes to monumental rulings such as this one, Twitter users lose their minds. Here is what a few people in the public eye are saying about Brady's newfound freedom. The first is Presidential candidate Donald Trump. Read More »

On his podcast, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin reviewed the Summerslam pay-per-view with Pro Wrestling Torch editor Wade Keller and, while the two spoke highly on the Seth Rollins vs. John Cena match and the main event of Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker, not everything was spoken of so fondly. When it came to the booking of Stephen Amell's tag-team match with Neville, Austin just was not a fan.
