Stephanie Becker, a young Jewish woman and Ivy League-educated consultant living in Manhattan, fell to her death from a NYC luxury apartment building on Thursday. It is unknown whether 28-year-old Becker's death was the result of an accidental freak fall, or a successful suicide attempt. Britney Spears cries during The X-Factor auditions. During the second round of boot camp last night, Spears choked up after 15-year-old Jordan Shane messed up and ran off stage. The cameras immediately turned to Spears. The singer tried to keep her composure and was heard telling L.A. Reid, "I don't like that she's crying. It makes me want to cry that she's crying. Actress Daryl Hannah was arrested in Texas on Thursday during an environmental protest geared towards an oil pipeline designed to bring crude oil from Canada to the Gulf Coast. Apparently Hannah's wrist was injured during the arrest - the 51-year-old activist claims that a TransCanada security guard grabbed her arm and hurt her during the debacle. 78-year-old landowner Eleanor Fairchild was also arrested for criminal trespassing. Three elderly Kenyans who were torture victims during the British rule in 1950 in Kenya are approved to sue even though of the technicalities of a passage of time. This particular case may open thousands of other cases. The British Foreign Office argued that the events happened to long ago for a fair trial to be determined.
