LeBron James Uses His Smarts For Glory

By Kenneth Brown |

LeBron James rarely has a day away from the spotlight, and he's in the headlines for many reasons this week. First, the "king" claimed that the Chicago Bulls were a "far better team" than his Cleveland Cavaliers. Second, he led his NBA team to domination over the Bulls. Third, he received some Ohio State Buckeyes goodies. Who says you have to play college basketball after all? He's slowly learning what to say and how to motivate teammates Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson, and it's clear for all to see that James knows what he's doing. Arsenal Duo Here To Stay

By Kenneth Brown |

Germany are the champions of world football, so it's safe to say it's never a bad thing to have a couple of their players in your club squad. That's Arsenal's approach, anyway. Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil could help the club in their efforts to save their season, and they'll be back and ready to go before long. Podolski has been out of favour, but after saying 'hell would have to freeze over' for him to move to Tottenham, it's safe to say he's back in the fans' good books. He will soon be joined by good friend Ozil, who's pushing closer to a return from injury. Read More »

Is Mario Balotelli A Failure?

By Kenneth Brown |

Last season, things couldn't have been better for Brendan Rodgers, but after losing Luis Suarez and replacing him with Mario Balotelli, it's safe to say things haven't gone according to plan. Of course, Pool still have Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge, but fitness concerns for the first and injury agonies for the latter have ruined what would be an otherwise exciting, attacking forward line. Balotelli has so far failed to replace Suarez, with the star missing an open goal in yesterday's win over QPR, meaning he still has yet to open his Premier League goals account for the Reds. Former Arsenal Goalkeeper Offers To Pay The Fans Back

By Kenneth Brown |

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone was enemy No. 1 this weekend for Sunderland fans, after conceding 8 goals, as his team fell to a humiliating 8-0 defeat against Southampton. However, he has gone some way to redeeming himself to manager Gus Poyet and the fans, showing he cares enough to try and offer the fans that travelled the cost of their tickets and journey costs. The 8-0 defeat was one of the biggest shocks ever, and nearly set a record, and it's something they will try and put right as soon as possible, evidently with this kind gesture. Read More »

By Kenneth Brown |

The Cleveland Browns are currently working through some issues, especially surrounding their quarterback and wide receiver issues. The Browns have Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel, who're supposed to be two of the biggest stars in the NFL, but they could well be preparing to trade the two of them in the near future. With Brian Hoyer, Travis Benjamin, Andrew Hawkins and Ben Tate around, they may look to make a "Trent Richardson"-type trade, getting picks for troubled talents. The Browns have had a rough sporting weekend. Manziel has added fuel to the fire, and many believe he could soon be heading out the door. Read More »

Dwyane Wade Worries His Miami Heat Team

By Kenneth Brown |

Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have made alarming comments recently, ones that suggest they're still reeling by LeBron James's departure and that they have no idea of what's coming, which is worrying considering the NBA season is a matter of days away. Wade recently married Gabrielle Union, so perhaps his mind has been elsewhere, but now it's back focused on basketball matters, it has been revealed he's "deeply confused," and adding that to recent comments by Miami Heat teammate Bosh, it's not looking good for the title contenders. Wade's NBA future is uncertain. Read More »

By Kenneth Brown |

All summer long Cleveland Browns fans cried for Johnny Manziel to start over Brian Hoyer, but his recent performances soon silenced those cries. This weekend, however, Hoyer's men failed miserably, losing 24-6 against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, which quickly prompted for more "Manziel in" chants. How will the Browns fix this situation, and is Hoyer the man to lead them forward? He, and his high school football coach, think so, but the Browns might soon beg for consistency. Read More »
