CW Orders 'The Flash' Pilot

Earlier this year, Grant Gustin (Glee) was cast as The Flash in the hit DC Comics CW series Arrow. Gustin's role would have eventually led to a spinoff series of his own, entitled The Flash, after his story arc on Arrow came to a close. The final episode of this arc would have served as a "backdoor pilot" for the new series, but now the CW is scrapping this idea in order to get The Flash on the air as soon as possible. Read More »
