It looks like the rumors surrounding singers Selena Gomez and Austin Mahone dating are all thanks to some friendly nudges from Taylor Swift. Gomez and Swift are close friends and insiders are claiming the ex-girlfriend of One Direction's Harry Styles wants the best for her buddy and feels that 17-year-old "What About Love" singer is just that. What's kind of weird about the 19-year-old possibly dating Mahone is that the young singer has been described as "the second coming of Justin Bieber," which is obviously Gomez's ex-boyfriend. Pop and country songstress Taylor Swift has previously talked about writing a new record and yesterday she told MTV News that the writing process is definitely on her mind. She also talked about how "crazy" writing new music can be and how she wants to ease into a new record with enough time passing after the release of her latest album, Red.
