David Bowie 'The Next Day' Expanded Edition Announced

David Bowie's 2013 album, The Next Day, will be reissued next month as a three-disc collector's edition, complete with remixes and unreleased songs. This extended reissue will feature the 14-track CD, a 10-track bonus CD with the unreleased material and a DVD featuring the 4 music videos for the album's songs "Where Are We Now?," "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," "The Next Day" and "Valentine's Day." There will also be an iTunes EP featuring some unheard songs. Read More »

Trevor Bolder might not be a household name, but his musicianship is legendary and influential. Known as a session bassist mostly, Trevor Bolder was responsible for some of the more iconic basslines incorporated with David Bowie, Uriah Heep, The Rats and The Spiders From Mars. Astronaut Chris Hadfield Covers David Bowie's 'Space Oddity': First Music Video Recorded in Space, Final Twitter Posts, Returns to Earth May 15

Chris Hadfield, who is the commander of the International Space Station, just released the first ever music video recorded in space. Performing his own rendition of David Bowie's classic hit "Space Oddity," Hadfield tours the spacecraft showing incredibly fitting imagery. He is literally "sitting in a tin can far above the world." A social media celebrity of sorts with educational YouTube, Twitter and Facebook posts piling up since March, Commander Hadfield has released his final video. He is set to return to Earth on May 15.
