The original release date of Lady Gaga's first "Artpop" single "Applause" was supposed to come complete with a music video, iTunes release and radio unveiling. Due to leaks that happened during the same weekend as Katy Perry's new single "Roar," Mother Monster's plans were all thrown out the window. "Applause" first streamed on VEVO and YouTube, was made available on iTunes a day or two later then a lyric video for the clip popped up on Friday (Aug. 14).
