The rumored release date for Kanye West's sixth studio album "Yeezus" is scheduled for June 18... which means new Yeezy music should drop within the next few weeks. Some fans anxiously await the fresh Yeezy beats, others... not so much. Maybe the "negativity" has something to do with West's controversial (alternative) album cover that recently leaked and went viral on the web. The image (NOT the official "Yeezus" album artwork, yet...) features a caricature of the rapper being crucified. Rumors suggest that Em's highly-anticipated eighth studio album will hit stores sometime in early July, but for now, fans will have to sit back and wait. NO new Slim Shady songs have yet to leak online, although several YouTube clips entitled "EMINEM NEW MUSIC 2013" would suggest otherwise... So, the May 28th rumored release date for Eminem's highly-anticipated new album has officially come and gone... now it appears that fans are anxiously awaiting a July 2 surprise! Few details surrounding the release of Em's eighth studio album are available online, but the fact of the matter is that there's absolutely NO web leaks of new songs or Slim Shady music. Several Eminem "wannabes" post YouTube clips impersonating the popular Shady Records rapper, but it's not actually Marshall Mathers busting out any of the rhymes. Kanye West is set to drop his highly-anticipated sixth studio album "Yeezus" on June 18, 2013. On a recent episode of "Saturday Night Live," Yeezy performed two fresh tracks off the new record - "New Slaves" and "Black Skinhead." Now, an unofficial iTunes photo of the FULL album tracklist has since leaked online. Several sources confirm that the 13-track listing is most likely fake... but the image still continues to go viral. Listed tracks including "In the Heavens," "Onsite," and "Hyper Critical" allegedly feature guest-appearances by John Legend, Travi$ Scott, and Tyler, the Creator among several others. While Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories has been in stores for a week now (and it's masterful, pre-launch buzz-building campaign has been viewed, dissected and praised), it appears the robots have a few more promotional tricks up their sleeves. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter made a rare in-the-helmet appearance at Le Grand Prix de Monaco as part of a cross-promotional deal between the Lotus Formula One team and Columbia Records. In "inexplicably not that big a deal in the United States" news, Kylie Minogue has just released her first new music since last year's "Timebomb," the infectious "Skirt." Keeping with a Memorial Day-ish tradition (both "Timebomb" and 2010's "All The Lovers" were both released around the holiday) Minogue dropped the Nom de Strip produced track via Soundcloud. History shows us that these tracks tend to be the first off of a new album for Minogue, so keep your ears peeled for new jams from the Aussie songstress. Rumors suggest that rapper Eminem's set to release a new album sometime this summer... few details surrounding Slim Shady's highly-anticipated eighth studio album currently exist on the web, but that hasn't stopped Twitter fans from buzzing! With his highly anticipated new 2013 album set to be coming out any day now, Detroit rapper Eminem is setting his sights on Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook. According to the Detroit Free Press, Eminem's song publisher is suing Facebook and its ad agency for infringing on “Slim Shady's” copyright. According to the complaint, Eminem's song publisher claims that a Facebook ad titled "Airplane" used music from Eminem's 2000 "Under the Influence" song. Read More »
