Braylon Edwards could have been a star in the NFL. Early on in his career he amassed sixteen touchdowns in a single season with the Cleveland Browns. The potential success Edwards could have had in his career was eventually derailed by a number of off-the-field problems such as DWI arrests and a slew of violent altercations. FSU quarterback Jameis Winston has declared for the 2015 NFL Draft, and there are plenty of teams circling the QB, who is seen as the second best quarterback prospect in the draft class. According to reports everybody from the Tennessee Titans - who have the second pick in the draft - to the coach-less Chicago Bears and New York Jets, as well as the St Louis Rams and Houston Texans, and even playoff teams like the Arizona Cardinals are interested in the QB, whose off-field indiscretions have plenty of analysts wary. The New York Jets have fired Rex Ryan. The controversial head coach had already reportedly cleaned out his desk, and Jets owner Woody Johnson today obliged both Rex and General Manager John Idzik by parting ways with the pair. This year the Jets went 4-12, the worst record the team has posted since 2007, and once again missed the NFL playoffs making it their fourth season in a row without postseason action. The Jets have hired two former NFL GMs - Charley Casserly and Ron Wolf - to oversee their new hires, while speculation is mounting that Rex Ryan could head to the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders or Chicago Bears. Smith was the only player who didn't publicly support Ryan, with others sugarcoating the coach's horrible performance the past few seasons. Are San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick and coach Jim Harbaugh done in San Fran? It certainly looks that way, with the team looking like a "dumpster fire" after a disastrous 24-13 loss to the 2-11 Oakland Raiders. The calls for Kaepernick to go are getting louder and indications that Harbaugh will leave after this season are becoming more clear. The questions facing the 49ers are whether or not they'll stick with Kaepernick at quarterback or pick his replacement in the NFL draft and what they can get for Harbaugh in a trade with the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins or Raiders. A shocked and stunned Rex Ryan stood at the podium after his team's 10th loss of the season and admitted that his team made him feel "sick." The New York Jets's head coach, eyes downcast after yet another loss — this time going down 16-13 to AFC East rival Miami Dolphins — also said that the team's 2-10 record was a "joke."
