Two highly-anticipated albums featuring popular rapper Eminen drop today (Tuesday, July 9). First, there's Slim Shady's protege Skylar Grey and her 2013 record "Don't Look Down." Then there's hip-hop DJ Tony Touch, who also released a fresh mixtape entitled "The Piece Maker 3: Return of the 50 MCs" (featuring Eminem's new song "Symphony in H"). Details surrounding Shady's OWN highly-anticipated upcoming album still remain a mystery... although rumors suggest that at this point, the release date isn't until LATE fall (maybe even winter). In the meantime, fans can enjoy this intimate behind-the-scenes clip posted by Tony Touch and entitled "Webisode 49." The video features footage from the making of "Get Back" as well as Shady's 2000 appearance on "SNL." Skylar Grey's highly-anticipated new album "Don't Look Down" drops TOMORROW (Tuesday, July 9). Eminem's popular protege just released the final sneak-peak of her new music... a catchy, somber tune entitled "Sunshine." Following the release of "Don't Look Down," 27-year-old Grey will hit the road on a mini-summer tour to promote the new record. Rumors suggest that Eminem's highly-anticipated 2013 album will hit stores sometime this fall... but who knows what to believe at this point (first the record was "scheduled" for a May 28 release date... and then July 2. Both of those obviously didn't happen). But guess who else is coming back to MTV after a five-year hiatus? Nick Cannon and his hit improv show "Wild N' Out." July 2 has officially come and gone... and STILL there's no confirmed details surrounding Eminem's highly-anticipated 2013 album. At this point, fans can only hope for Shady's fresh beats to hit the airwaves sometime this fall. Meanwhile, everything else surrounding Em's eighth studio record continues to remain a mystery... no confirmed album name, tracklist, collaborations, NOTHING. Janelle Monae has released another teaser for the "Dance Apocalyptic" music video. Like the first single "Q.U.E.E.N" the set will heavily feature black and white stripes (these ones are vertical). The electronic mogul, Moby, has finally completed his newest album entitled Innocents. The tentative release date (October 1st 2013), TRACKLIST, and tour plans to promote Moby's 11th studio album have recently been revealed via an announcement video from the DJ himself (watch below). For the follow up to 2011's Destroyed, Moby has decided to expand his social circle and recruited some guest collaborators to work with him on the LP including The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne, indie-folk songwriter Damien Jurado, alt-rock singer Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age), Cold Specks, Skylar Grey and Inyang Bassey, report Rolling Stone. Sorry, Slim Shady fans, it doesn't look like Eminem's new 2013 album will drop on July 2 like initially suggested. Apparently, fresh beats from the "Without Me" rapper will hit airwaves sometime this upcoming fall (hopefully). But here's a fun-fact... "Hart of Dixie" beauty Rachel Bilson recently admitted in an interview with British Cosmopolitan magazine that she'd love to bust-out a duet with Eminem... the 31-year-old starlet always secretly wanted to pursue a career in rapping! Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct the highly-anticipated film adaptation of E.L. James' kinky trilogy "Fifty Shades of Grey" - scheduled for a August 1, 2014 release date.
