Carrie Fisher has been claiming for over a year now that she would reprise her role of Princess Leia in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII, but not official confirmation from Disney, Lucasfilm or Bad Robot have backed up this statement. 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Will Film from May Through September 2014

According to new reports, Star Wars: Episode VII will film from mid-May through September of 2014. This leaves plenty of time from the end of filming to the premiere date of December 18, 2015, for postproduction work. Earlier this month, reports were claiming that Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons was scheduled to meet with J.J. Abrams and audition for a role in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII movie. As of this week, the director himself has confirmed this news. 'Star Wars Episode VII' Casting Rumors, News

Earlier this week, we reported that Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons is the latest actor rumored to be auditioning for a role in the upcoming J.J. Abrams film, Star Wars Episode VII. New reports have added a few other big names to that list including Michael Fassbender and Hugo Weaving. Girls star Adam Driver is also another new name rumored for a role. Now sources are claiming that these new names are the latest batch of actors called in for auditions after an earlier script for the film (written by Michael Arndt) was thrown out and a new scripts (written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan) was drafted. Boba Fett Standalone Movie Coming after 'Star Wars Episode VII'?

Towards the end of 2013, it was revealed that Lawrence Kasdan, the writer of The Empire Strikes Back, would be taking over writing the script for 2015's Star Wars Episode VII alongside director J.J. Abrams. On top of this position, a new report claims that Kasdan is also penning a Boba Fett standalone film for the newly rebooted Star Wars film universe.
