Last night on Comedy Central's hour-long special of "The Colbert Report," music legend Paul McCartney joined host Stephen Colbert for interviews and performances. The former Beatle performed a number of hits including "Birthday," "Lady Madonna" and "Listen to What the Man Said." This special opened with a funny segment entitled "Stephen Colbert's Tribute to Having Paul McCartney on His Show, Featuring Paul McCartney, With Special Guest Stephen Colbert." Next week, Paul McCartney will be taking a short break from his “Out There” tour to stop by Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” for a special hour-long episode. This is the second time the usually 30-minute long show will increase it’s allotted time for special music episode, the first time was once in 2011 for Radiohead. On last night's episode of The Colbert Report, Stephen dedicated the whole show to The Great Gatsby. Turning his show into a book club-type episode, Stephen decided to take on The Great Gatsby. The episode involved interviews with the film's director Baz Luhrmann and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jennifer Egan. Well you probably saw this coming. After country star Brad Paisley and rapper LL Cool J teamed up for the controversial new song "Accidental Racist" a media firestorm broke out. Paisley and Cool J defended their song, but that doesn't mean they can avoid the resulting parodies.
