The "Shake It Off" singer has made a career out of writing about love, but in an interview with "Lucky" magazine — as reported by the "Daily Mail" — she says she doesn't believe in fairy tale romances anymore. "Wow, I really used to think that 'happily ever after' was a thing. Not in those simple terms ... I think that no matter what you find in terms of happiness and compatibility, there's always going to be a struggle attached to it," she said. "I used to believe that you find the one and that's it: Nothing's difficult after that. But then again, I know nothing now. I know legitimately nothing about lasting relationship experiences because I don't have them," she says. Sarah Hyland had a pretty amazing, star-studded birthday over the weekend, and it looks like the actress had a blast. The "Modern Family" star celebrated turning 24 in a pretty big way as she invited some of her besties to share in the festivities with her. It looks like the friends spent the whole weekend together as the stars took to their Instagram accounts to document the party. On Saturday, Nov. 22, Sarah and her pals gathered in Los Angeles to celebrate the actress turning another year older. Sarah and Taylor documented the party on their Instagram accounts. Sarah posted a few pictures of her night, including her blowing out the candles on her elaborately decorated cake. "I had the best night last night!!!! Thank you to all who came!!! I love you all," she captioned the image. She also posted another picture of her guests, including Taylor, Ellie and Kelly, writing, "It's a ladies party. No boys allowed."
