San Francisco Fire Jim Harbaugh- Former Stanford Coach Headed To Michigan Wolverines

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 29, 2014 12:10 PM EST

The San Francisco 49ers have parted ways with star coach Jim Harbaugh, who is on his way to the University of Michigan. All indications are that the coach who went 49-22-1 and tookt eh team to one Super Bowl appearance in his four seasons with the Niners will leave the NFL and take over the NCAA's Wolverines, where he starred as a quarterback between 1983-86. The Niners will now turn to a new coach - perhaps the recently deposed Rex Ryan - to guide them to better than a 68% win percentage, and decide whether or not to trade quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Chicago Bears Start Jay Cutler- Trade On Hold After Clausen Concussion? New York Jets, Houston Texans, Washington Redskins Switch For Kristin Cavallari Husband Before 2015 NFL Draft Off?

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 22, 2014 04:11 PM EST

Jay Cutler is back as the Chicago Bears starting quarterback. With last week's starter Jimmy Clausen suffering a concussion after Chicago's loss to Detroit on Sunday, and the NFL team wanting to finish the season on a high, Bears head coach Marc Trestman has turned back to his benched, $126 million star. Will this mean the husband of The Hills and Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari could stay in Chicago and avoid a trade to the New York Jets, Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans or St Louis Rams? Or will the Bears still trade Cutler and look to Marcus Mariota or Jamies Winston in the 2015 NFL draft to be their solution at quarterback? Read More »

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 18, 2014 07:15 PM EST

Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics All Star point guard and championship star, has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks, joining Dirk Nowitzki, Monta Ellis, Chandler Parson and Tyson Chandler in the biggest NBA trade of the 2014-15 season so far. The Celtics will reportedly receive Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson and both a future 1st and 2nd round draft pick for the temperamental Rondo. It's a clear tanking move from the Celtics who will now look to land a Top 5 pick in the 2015 NBA draft to pair with this year's lottery pick, Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart. Read More »

Arsenal Star Thierry Henry Retiring: Gunners & France's All Time Leading Striker Reveals Why He's Quitting Sport

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 16, 2014 11:55 AM EST

Thierry Henry, legendary Arsenal and France striker, is retiring. The World Cup-winning superstar left the New York Red Bulls after they were knocked out of MLS playoff contention earlier this month, which prompted speculation Arsenal's all-time leading goal scorer would return to the London club for the Premier League season. In his career filled with accolades, he won the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey with Barcelona (2009), the Premier League twice and the FA Cup three times with Arsenal, and also took home a FIFA World Cup (1998) and Euro championship (2000) representing France. Deron Williams, Joe Johnson & Brook Lopez Trade; Brooklyn Nets Targeting Young Stars, Putting 'Big Three' on Block After Slow Start to 2014 Season

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 09, 2014 06:11 PM EST

The Brooklyn Nets are looking to trade their star Big Three -- Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez, according to reports. With the Nets season looking like it could slip away at any moment and the team playing a disjointed, incohesive style that has them mired in the middle of the NBA pack, could they ship one or all three of their highly-paid stars out to the LA Lakers, Orlando Magic or Sacramento Kings? Robert Griffin 3 Vs. Colt McCoy: Jeff Fisher & St. Louis Rams Troll Jay Gruden & Washington Redskins, Poke Fun With 6-Player Honorary Captains & Trade Pieces From 2012 Robert Griffin III Swap

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 08, 2014 11:08 PM EST

The St. Louis Rams have seen their fair share of controversy in the past week — with the events of Ferguson still close by, and their "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" statement before last week's Oakland Raiders game — but at least they've still got a healthy sense of humor. In a show of expert trolling against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the team sent out the six rostered players that they received in the trade with Washington for their 2012 No. 2 pick — which Washington then used on Robert Griffin III — for the coin flip as honorary captains. With RG3 currently also in Washington coach Jay Gruden's doghouse, it was a salient, funny point showing up their opponent by displaying just how much they gave up for a now-backup quarterback. Colin Kaepernick, Jim Harbaugh Done In San Francisco? 49ers To Move On From Coach, QB?

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 08, 2014 11:41 AM EST

Are San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick and coach Jim Harbaugh done in San Fran? It certainly looks that way, with the team looking like a "dumpster fire" after a disastrous 24-13 loss to the 2-11 Oakland Raiders. The calls for Kaepernick to go are getting louder and indications that Harbaugh will leave after this season are becoming more clear. The questions facing the 49ers are whether or not they'll stick with Kaepernick at quarterback or pick his replacement in the NFL draft and what they can get for Harbaugh in a trade with the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins or Raiders. After yesterday's loss Harbaugh wouldn't comment on his future beyond the final three 49er games for the season, saying, "No. 1, my priorities are winning football games," he told the media. NBA Trade: Russell Westbrook For Rajon Rondo?

By Kenneth Brown | Sep 17, 2014 10:15 AM EDT

Russell Westbrook thought he had it all. He and Kevin Durant have finally seen the Miami Heat era through, and now it's their time to shine, or is it? Westbrook also recently proposed to Nina Earl, but it seems the newly engaged couple might be on the move, much to Durant's anger. There's talk of him being traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder, to the NBA legends the Boston Celtics with Rajon Rondo coming the other way. Does this trade make sense, or would OKC be messing with something good? The Thunder want an NBA title, but upsetting Durant ahead of free agency just might not work out too well, just ask LeBron James. Read More »
