If Mona Scott-Young was trying to piss people off, especially HBCU sororities and college students, she may have been successful. "MStars" News previously reported that the creator of "Love & Hip Hop" was allegedly degrading the true meaning of "sisterhood" with her new show that aired on VH1: "Sorority Sisters." We learned that a petition was created to ban the show after outraged sororities and fraternities produced almost 50,000 signatures before the show aired. The drama was heated Monday night, Dec. 15, in the first episode. If there's one person who's fired up about Mona Scott-Young's new show "Sorority Sisters," it's TV host Roland Martin. On Monday night, Dec. 15, thousands of viewers watched the new reality show and woke up outraged by tweeting there disgust for the dramatic show. Martin, wasn't alone in feeling like the show was a false representation of Greek life, the HBCU and African-American culture. "MStars News" previously reported that a petition was signed to try to ban the show before it aired, but now viewers of the show will have to do most of the talking and try not to watch the next episode if they want to see change. It has been the biggest of big years for "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon, having taken over NBC's flagship late night show from Jay Leno in February, spending 2014 interviewing almost every celebrity under the sun — from Bradley Cooper to Barbra Streisand — and then putting most of them in exceptionally funny situations and challenges. And now he has got an impressive accolade to top it off: "Entertainment Weekly's" 2014 Entertainer of the Year. That's according to "EW," which has named "Saturday Night Live"-alum Fallon its Entertainer of the Year and has the late night host on the cover of this week's magazine. With it comes a substantial feature interview with Jimmy Fallon, with plenty of examination as to how the married 40-year-old father of one has taken over the entertainment biz. In the highest praise possible, "EW" says that since taking over the "The Tonight Show," Fallon "turned the revered late-night franchise into the hottest party in town, a celebrity playpen full of games, music, surprise guests, games and good vibes all around." Sean's working on tracks with rap gods like Eminem while Ariana is busy capturing the world's attention being their pop princess. The beauty has announced that she's releasing a Christmas song called "Santa Tell Me," and adding to that Sean has revealed that he and Slim Shady have a follow-up to their "Detroit Vs. Everybody" song. Either way, the music industry might just have the cutest couple in the world. Ariana's song has her pleading for help to find some Christmas love, but in reality she's dating rap hot-shot Sean. Perhaps when they take a break from their music careers they're like any normal couple, but it's hard to believe this sweet pop princess is dating the hard-hitting rap star. With all the rape and sex allegations against America's favorite TV dad, you'd hope one of his victim's wasn't his TV granddaughter Raven-Symoné. After reports surfaced and made headlines that Bill Cosby raped women, including actress Janice Dickinson, the Internet went wild alleging that Symoné also made such claims. Sites like the "International Business Times" and others reported that Symoné filed charges against her former childhood granddad after the allegations started from the site hiphophangover.com, but it seems the story is false. The site reported: "Another rape allegation has surfaced against famed comedian and actor Bill Cosby. This time it is from a familiar face, which speculates that there may be some truth to Cosby’s sketchy past. "Actress and singer Raven-Symoné, who rose to fame with Cosby in the hit television sitcom The Cosby Show, revealed to the TMZ offices that she, too, had been raped and drugged years ago following the show's last episode. T"here are whispers that Cosby wouldn’t allow Raven-Symoné in the production of the last season of his show, but abruptly changed his mind. It was never revealed what changed his original intentions. "Her lawyer gave an announcement to the press. Here is an excerpt: “'… we among so many others are tired of the media worshipping and praising a man that has a past so terrible that it is unbelievable. My client (Raven-Symoné) is also ready to tell her side of the story — a side that was kept quiet because of threats from being blackballed. There was no monetary compensation that made my client keep quiet, but more so the respect for Mr. Cosby. Well, that respect has come to an end. Looks like your favorite family, the Cosbys, is no more. "MStars News" has learned that TV Land has pulled the plug on the show after Bill Cosby made headline news over rape accusations. "The Cosby Show" reruns will be canceled as well as the NBC Cosby comedy that was under production, according to Page Six. Rebecca Marks, an NBC rep, revealed Wednesday, Nov. 19, that the 1980s sitcom "is no longer under development." A TV Land rep revealed that The Cosby Show will stop airing as soon as possible indefinitely. All cancellations of the hit sitcom come after actress Janice Dickinson gave an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," claiming that she was the third victim to come forth in weeks accusing Cosby of sexually assaulting her.
