Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has already began filming, and James Gunn has even shared the first official photo of the cast featuring Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot. Now the GotG director has decided to unveil a funny new picture of the cast with its newest addition, Pom Klementieff!

Gunn posted the image on his official Facebook page, which shows Klementieff, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista with the director. Michael Rooker, who played Yondu in the first movie, is also in the photo with Sean Gunn, who stood in for Rocket before the CGI character was added to the film's final cut.

In addition to the big reveal of Klementieff with the GotG Vol. 2 cast, Karen Gillan is also featured in the picture with her long hair still intact. The former Doctor Who actress had previously shaved her head for the first film to wear the prosthetics needed to become the character Nebula. However, it looks like Gunn may have decided to let Gillan keep her hair for the meantime.

High on believing. The Guardians of the Galaxy and frenemies.

Although there is little doubt that Gunn enjoys working with the rest of the cast, the Slither helmer was obviously blown away by Klementieff, who will play Mantis. When asked by a fan if he is looking forward to having the Marvel character in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Gunn responded, "Pom is amazing."

Klementieff isn't the only exciting new addition to the movie. There has been speculation that Sylvester Stallone is now a part of the cast and will possibly be playing a Nova Corps officer in the sequel.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will also feature the voice talents of Bradley Cooper as Rocket and Vin Diesel as Groot. The film is scheduled for release on May 5, 2017.
