Stefani Germanotta or Lady Gaga has a lot of things she missed from older times. The singer recounted the days of her pre-Lady Gaga days and shares that she missed the freedom of going undetected by paparazzi wherever she goes.

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Lady Gaga shares how she feels imprisoned by her fame because she can't go anywhere without being stalked. She shares that whenever she goes out of any of her properties, it makes it "legal" for stalkers and paparazzi to follow her anywhere, MTV noted.

Lady Gaga tearfully confessed that she misses going out and meeting people on the street and having conversations with random passersby. She insinuates that her music career that made her Lady Gaga in the public's eyes is actually imprisoning her and thus taking any freedom she has.

She opened up about her experiences in the interview to talk about her fifth studio album, Joanne, which was named after her deceased aunt, People noted. It was revealed that the "Born this Way" singer was close to her aunt and when she played the music to her father and grandmother, they were emotional. Her grandma advised her not to get too sentimental with her music but adds that her intention was to not become too fixated with her aunt's death.

The "Applause" singer also revealed in the interview that her definition of success isn't for being known around the world or for having lots of money and properties or followers. She believes that staying true to herself as Stefani Germanotta and having your whole family proud of you for not getting lost in the things that fame brings.

Lady Gaga also shared that she would be content with performing her new album music in pubs because it is the album she deemed to be most truthful of all. Her relationship with her family and their support are what makes her continue on.
