Ark: Survival Evolved: Update to Launch on January 30 For PS4, Xbox and PC, Reports

Ark: Survival Evolved is expected to receive update on 30th Jan. Due to the given amount of work that the developers had to invest on the update, the launch got delayed. However, reports suggests that Ark: Survival Evolved update will be launched on January 30.

Game developer Steam recently reassured its fans that the PC update for Ark: Survival Evolved will be made available to its fans by January 20. However, the launch was delayed. Steam posted a message on their page confirming that they will be making the update available on January 30.

Yahoo reported that the game's update delayed for surprise feature.Studio Wildcard community manager Jat said that the v254 update is much larger than what they had anticipated and therefore, the developers require more time to work on the update. He also further stated that they will be announcing the update soon enough and an 'extra-special' surprise will also be accompanying the update.

The current patch comes with several new features and customisation including hairstyles, Tek Tier phase one, seven new Dinos, new items, alliance chats and more, Express reported. The first update was quite slim and therefore, it didn't take a lot of time for them to come up with that. However, with the new update since the companion mechanism is slightly more complex than the previous one, it is taking a longer time for the changes to be implemented and made available for the users.

In addition to the features mentioned above, the Ark v254 patch also comes along with a few bug fixes. For example, the blue screen had an emerging problem on PS4. Due to the given patch fixes too, it took a much longer time for the team to work out the update for its audience.
