Stephen Amell, who plays the titular character on the CW's "Arrow", talked about how Felicity Smoak is hiding secrets. The actor said that Oliver knows that one of his most trusted allies is covering up the truth with regard to her activities. She does not want to talk to her former lover and so Oliver must wait until she approaches him herself.

The usual upbeat Felicity Smoak seems to be a different person now in the second half of "Arrow". Producers of "Arrow" mentioned before that the beloved hacker character's personality will change after her detective boyfriend, Billy Malone, meets his demise. That event changed her drastically and now Stephen Amell's Oliver has to look on without knowing anything much about what is going on with his ex.

ComicBook.com even added that "Arrow" character Felicity looked to have lost her moral compass when she harangued an executive with data that she stole from the NSA. She also did something that was out of character: she paid no mind to the fact that she was also putting the man's family in danger with her machinations. She even had pals Rory and Curtis tag along, dressed up as Bratva enforcers. All the while, Oliver awaits the time that he and one of his partners-in-crime talks to him about it, Stephen Amell said. Thereon, they can discuss things further. But for now, they are tiptoeing around the topic.

Furthermore, Stephen Amell as Green as Green Arrow has to contend with the villainous Vigilante. As the latest episode of "Arrow" showed, he got attacked by Vigilante not when he was the masked crusader, but as the mayor of Star City. So Oliver has to deal with that problem without revealing his hero identity while juggling his responsibilities as mayor and trying to get Felicity to come out of her shell, according to CinemaBlend.
