"Supernatural" star Misha Collins and Eric Kripke reunite in the penultimate episode of "Timeless" titled "Public Enemy No. 1." Here are the details of Collin's role.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Kripke cast Misha Collins to play the role of Eliot Ness. The man is behind the downfall of the notorious Chicago gangster, Al Capone.

In the recent "Timeless" episode, the trio Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) have finally reunited to go after the Public Enemy No. 1 Flynn (Goran Visnjic). They will approach Collins' character, Eliot Ness to stop the villains.

Per Nerdist, Eliot Ness is the leader of Untouchables, a group of nine U.S. federal law enforcement agents who worked from 1929 to 1931 to take down Capone. Ness is very aggressive in enforcing Prohibition law against Capone and his men. Their efforts did not go unnoticed as they earned the reputation of being incorruptible and downright legendary.

The penultimate episode of "Timeless" happens near the end of Ness' campaign against Capone. Fans will see Flynn helping him escape the law. Ness and the trio will work together to hunt the two criminals. Thus the episode transpired with lots of action scenes.

As for casting the "Supernatural" star for "Timeless'" Eliot Ness, Eric Kripke shared that the actor was the first man who crossed his mind when the character came up. The writer, director and producer is convinced that the role is for Collins.

"When the Eliot Ness character first came up, I immediately thought of Misha, and I'm so thrilled to be working with him again," said the "Timeless" EP. "Misha brings his charisma, his talent, and frankly, all of his angelic qualities to the role."

Misha Collins and Eric Kripke have worked together for the CW's "Supernatural" when the former's angel character was introduced. Collin's role has been a series regular on-and-off. Meanwhile, Kripke left to work for "Timeless" and the short-lived "Revolution."

Misha Collins' casting favors the actor as "Timeless" and "Supernatural" are filmed on the same location, in Vancouver. Thus, the actor has enough time to shoot for both TV series without sacrificing his time to neither one.
