" Mass Effect: Andromeda" announced earlier that they will be having a multiplayer tech test but the team announced that they have decided to cancel it. Meanwhile, "Day One" Patch will soon be released. Check out the details here.

Last Nov. 7, Fabrice Condominas announced that they are planning for a multiplayer tech test for "Mass Effect: Andromeda". It will be scheduled prior to the release of the game. For those who are still looking forward to the tech test, it is not happening anymore, PC Gamer reported.

"While we will have live multiplayer at PAX East, there will no longer be a multiplayer tech test for players at home. Thank you to everyone who signed up. We look forward to seeing you in Andromeda," BioWare wrote.

When the publication asked why the team decided to cancel the multiplayer tech test for " Mass Effect: Andromeda," Bioware explained that they have worked extremely hard in building, testing and balancing multiplayer. Thus, they don't think that the tech test is still necessary.

Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is due to launch in a couple of weeks. Bioware announced that their development team is still working on the Day One patch. On Friday, the game went gold which indicates that the studio is done with the initial development.

Day One patch is expected to be up and ready five days before "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is released for EA Access and Origin Access. The title is expected to launch on March 21, GameSpot reported.

Meanwhile, for those wondering about the size of the game. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is at least 45 GB but not more than 60 GB for PS4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, for the PC version, it might be about 55 GB. You can check out the PC specifications here.
