With just a few days to go before its official release, BioWare is pumping up the hype train for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Among the new screenshots are the customizable options for the game's multiplayer mode, as well as the wide range of female characters.

As reported by Dual Shockers, females from all races are made available for multiplayer of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," though male Asaris would still be unavailable. Aside from the additional characters, multiplayer will also provide players with options to customize how the armor looks, especially the color scheme.

Based on the screenshots, multiplayer characters for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will also have different rarity levels. This means players can get additional characters by either playing through the game, or by buying them through the game's online store. Multiplayer characters will also have their own progression in "Mass Effect: Andromeda." As the player's rank increases, more skills and options will be accessible to the player.

Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is offering a 10-hour EA/Origin Access trial for its players. This trial period will let players enjoy unlimited multiplayer access, though the single-player option will be quite limited. According to GameSpot, gates will be placed on certain parts of the single-player experience, meaning players can't progress after a certain point. This has been confirmed by "Mass Effect: Andromeda" producer Fernando Melo through Twitter.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is also adding a new feature to the game, called "Missions." In it, players can link both single-player and multiplayer accounts, which merits the player rewards for both during gameplay.

Marked as the fourth entry in the "Mass Effect" franchise, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" follows the story of either Scott or Sara Ryder as humanity populates the Andromeda Galaxy through the Andromeda Initiative. The open-world game will feature traditional gameplay elements, while putting an emphasis on exploration.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is arriving to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 21 for North America, while Europe will receive theirs on March 23.
