Hugh Jackman's final appearance as Wolverine in "Logan" is certainly looking good for Fox financially. Not wanting to be left behind, Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds took some time to play around with Jackman with the help of social media.

Jackman recently posted an image on Twitter during his visit to Beijing, China to promote "Logan". In the picture, the "Logan" star poses in front of fans after signing posters for the said movie. Reynolds, taking notice of the image, replies to the tweet suggesting that those in the background are more likely to be protesters. Taking the hint, Jackman responds with "Really ... Guy... Really?!," closing the exchange between him and Reynolds, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Aside from the short jabs from Reynolds and Jackman via Twitter, Ryan also joined the premiere of "Logan" as his signature character, Deadpool. Titled "No Good Deed", the 4-minute teaser  Deadpool was played before the feature film, giving fans an annual dose of the spandex-wearing, foul-mouthed anti-hero.

There were also plans for the two to join forces onscreen, though with Jackman finally hanging up the adamantium claws after "Logan", Reynolds may just be out of luck. According to Reynolds himself, he is willing to do what he can to rally the cause (of having a Wolverine and Deadpool team-up) not just because he knows it would sell, but because he loves the Australian actor genuinely, MovieWeb reported.

"Logan" has made quite an impact on the box office scene, with a domestic cash-in of $85.3 million for its first weekend, while making $152.5 million internationally. With this numbers just on the first week of release, the cash flow for the film will definitely be higher in the coming days.

In the meantime, Fox is working to get the most out of the "X-Men" franchise. Aside from "Deadpool 2" with Ryan Reynolds, the studio is producing other projects like "New Mutants," "Gambit" and a new "X-Men" trilogy.
