Early teasers for "Despicable Me 3" feature the new baddie Balthazar Bratt and his 80's-inspired gadgets. In the newest trailer for "Despicable Me 3" however, the focus has shifted to the introduction of Gru's twin brother Dru, and the call for one last criminal heist.

After being dismissed from the Anti-Villain League for failing to stop Bratt (voiced by South Park creator Trey Parker), Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) is called to meet Dru, his long-lost twin (also voiced by Carell). As reported by Deadline, Dru is almost a complete opposite of the black-suited Gru. Donning a white suit and long, blonde locks, the twin brother of the "Despicable Me 3" protagonist is shown to be successful in his field, with a large mansion and numerous cars.

The "Despicable Me 3" trailer also dwells more into Gru's lineage, as it shows that he is part of a line of criminals, as seen in the hall leading to Dru's base, where Dru invites his brother to go back to the family business. While initially declining due to him veering away from the life of crime now, he does take on the offer and the twins don matching costumes proceeding to what seems to be Bratt's base.

Speaking of Bratt, the "Despicable Me 3" baddie is touted as a character that has never moved on from the character he played as in the 80's, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  The match between Gru and Bratt is a good throwback to "Despicable Me 2," where Gru went up against the legendary villain El Macho.

Apart from Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier and Steve Coogan will be reprising their roles for "Despicable Me 3." They will be joined by series newcomers Jenny Slate and Nev Scharrel, who will take over as the voice of Agnes in "Despicable Me 3".

"Despicable Me 3" premiers on June 2017.
