Canadian Rapper Drake once again proves that he has the cred to back up his chops. "More Life," his latest album, rose up the chart shortly after its release, taking top spots at the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.

As reported by Billboard, 19 of the 22-piece "playset" are found on the chart, with measures the activity of the artists and their songs on Twitter. The top five spots on the list were led with the Drake and Kanye West-collaboration "Glow," followed by "Portland" with Travis Scott, "Do Not Disturb," "Free Smoke" and "Teenage Fever." The tracks got their spots within 24 hours after release.

As for the album itself, it has a globe-trotting vibe to it. Rolling Stone points out how Drake's new set bring listeners to different parts of the world, from the dancehalls of the Caribbean with "Blem" to "No Longer Talk" and its U.K. sound. It also evokes some old-school style with Drake's disco track "Passionfruit" and some classic Earth, Wind, and Fire with the aforementioned song with Kanye West.

Initially presented during his radio show on Beats 1 "OVO Sound" on March 18, Drake then opened "More Life" for digital streaming and purchase.  The album went through several roadblocks, including pushbacks with the release date that was originally scheduled for October 2016. 'Fake Love," another track from Drake's "More Life," reached the ninth spot on the Billboard Hot 100 when it came out in October 2016, along with the announcement of the album.

"More Life" is Drake's first "playlist" following four studio albums, with 2016's "Views" being the most recent. From his debut mixtape "Room for Improvement" in 2006, the Toronto-born musician, producer, and actor has earned numerous nominations from different music award outlets, with 3 Grammys and 2 MTV Music Awards titles. Drake has also been called the best rapper by several media outlets.
