"Kingdom Hearts 3" is one of the anticipated games in the past years. Unfortunately, "KH3" is still not coming out this year.

Square Enix released a list of its upcoming games in 2017 per GameZone. Unfortunately, "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" did not make it into the games that fans should expect this year. Though these two anticipated titles are not coming out, gamers can expect "Dragon Quest XI," "Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age" and more.

"KH" fans are already starting to lose heart about the third installment of the game, especially that it was first announced in 2013. "Kingdom Hearts 3" was revealed during Sony's E3 2013 press conference. It is already over 3 years, but the game remains in the works.

The last update that director Tetsuya Nomura offered on "Kingdom Hearts 3" was about the transformations on the keyblades and its "untouched worlds. " According to Nomura, the keyblades in the new iteration will have two transformation patterns. It can transform into a tank and shield or a pair of crossbows for each hand. Its transformation depends on the keyblade.

Aside from "Kingdom Hearts 3," "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will not see the light of day soon. The title is expected to be released in parts but it still has a TBD release date. The mechanics of the title is still reportedly going through "trial and error," but it will still feature Cloud, who will be able to cross-dress in the title.

Tetsuya Nomura also mentioned that "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" players can also switch between Cloud and Barret. This is a good opportunity for players to learn how to change gears for strategic purposes. For instance, if an enemy can't be reached by Cloud's sword, he or she can switch to Barret to make a more reasonable attack. The Guard Scorpion will now also change modes during a battle.

Meanwhile, back to "Kingdom Hearts 3," if you want to see all the gameplay footages released for the title, you can check it out here. NeoGAF took the time to compile everything in one video that lasted up to over seven minutes.
