iPhone 8 is expected to have many features that the user will love. But with its solid features, the new iPhone is expected to be very expensive, with analysts suggesting that the price will start from $1,000. Competitors such as OnePlus 5 will pursue this price advantage and this might give Apple a hard time.

If there's something the iPhone is known for, it is its lot of features, its massive problem of cloning, and its expensive price. The price of an iPhone is one of the factors that will make a buyer rethink buying a unit. But this year's iPhone 8 will be the real deal when it comes to price, as it is suggested that the price will start at $1,000.

The reason for the whooping price is the advanced technology that will be put in the unit, as reported by Network World. With improved water resistance, facial recognition technology, faster internals and more features, the price could bloat up. The price increase is said to be because of the iPhone 8's more expensive parts. The current entry-level iPhone 7 is priced at $649.

Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kou suggested that one of the most expensive parts of the new iPhone 8 is the move to OLED. 3D Touch Solution for OLED Panels needed bonding of glass cover on the front and back of an OLED panel, as reported by Forbes. Goldman Sachs also stated that the OLED itself will cost an additional $35, the 3D sensing technology will add $20 and the upgraded memory will be from $16-29. And the biggest update, the 3D Touch module that will cost $100, the price hike is seen to be rather conservative.

This is a curious case, as it is clearly an advantage for the OnePlus 5, who is said to be beating Apple's number one rival Samsung. Though the OnePlus 5 is weak in the display area compared to Samsung Galaxy 8 and the iPhone 8, the price advantage is proven to be a game changer.
