For the last few years NCAA big-hitters Alabama and Texas A&M were dominating, and it was laregely down to A.J. McCarron and Johnny Manziel. The pair knew that once this duo left this year, things would change. Now they're hoping for more of the same, but from new quarterback stars Blake Sims and Kenny Hill. The pair have been tipped to be future stars, and all eyes have been on their early season form, so when the teams took the field to face off, that attention was evidently agreed. But one man proved his worth, raising his NFL draft stock while the other flopped.

McCarron and Manziel are still learning their NFL trade from the bench, but many believe they're future QB icons, so it was never going to be an easy job to replace the duo. Their replacements have time on their side, but Sims proved he might already be a million miles ahead of his rival QB, leading his team to the 59-0 demolition over their rivals.

Could Sims become a better QB than McCarron, who was incredible throughout his college career? Perhaps, and he's learning each week, showing he could be a future star of the NCAA, and quite possibly the NFL, too.

Hill, however, has failed to live up to Manziel, and some have suggested he should be benched. Then again, he's young and had big shoes to fill, so could he change that perception soon enough?

It seems Alabama has the perfect replacement, but Texas A&M are still working through their loss of Manziel.
