'The Mindy Project' Spoilers: Will We Meet Mindy Lahiri’s Parents Soon?

The Mindy Project is currently in its third season and things are heating up between Mindy Lahiri (played by Mindy Kaling) and Danny Castellano (played by Chris Messina).  During this season, we have already met Danny's mom Annette (played by Rhea Perlman), but will we meet Mindy's parents? We have that answer and a few more spoilers below.

Earlier this season Mindy was finally introduced to Danny's mom, who did not like her, but eventually grew to like her after she had a serious sit down with Mindy. Even though we all love seeing Mindy with her friends, it would be nice to meet her parents, especially because they'll have to be characters if they created Mindy. But, when will we meet them?

"I think we're going to toward the end of the season," creator and star Mindy Kaling told TV Line about meeting her character's parents. "The kind of parents that created this person is, for whatever reason, for me much is more challenging to picture than the ones who created Danny... We've been putting it off for a while, but we will see them."

As for Danny and Mindy, there will unfortunately not be any more dancing from stripper Danny this season. "The reaction to it was so positive. [However] Like anything else, we don't want to just take that toy and break it. So I think we're not going to see that for quite a long, long time," the 35-year-old actress revealed to the publication.

Even though we love Dr. D's sweet dance moves, he will somehow top his dancing Christmas gift from last season, according to E! Online. "All you need to know is that Danny's gift for Mindy in this year's Christmas episode (set to be number 11) might just top last year's infamous dance. That is if all goes according to plan," E! Online reported.

Plus, for all of you Peter and Lauren fans out there, their romance might not be dead after all. "Oh, and that love triangle between Jeremy, Peter and Lauren? So. Not. Over." the publication revealed.
